Pantomime Information
Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Connaught 2010
Children:
We need either 3 teams of 8 children plus a swing per team, or 4 teams of 8 and no swings… to be confirmed… but between 27 and 32 in total.
Seniors:
We also need 6 senior dancers but this is likely to be a set of 12 of whom some do the majority and some do odd performances… Those in GCSE years will not get consent for time off school for their licences and equally there are some who would love to do it but cannot afford to give up their Saturday jobs so possibly a combination of those who can't do weekends and those who can only do weekends will be a good mix.
There are a total of 50 performances and it all ends on New Year's Eve. The pantomime is unpaid but equally there are no charges involved in participating.
Since this is a school project no-one may audition for other pantomimes prior to our details being finalised. However, we are aware that Hammond are auditioning at the end of June so we will make sure we have sufficient information for you to know whether or not you are likely to be in this one first.
Monday 14th June we have 7 children doing a PR evening for the theatres. The 7 children picked to do this might or might not be in the actual panto - Monday stands alone. However, it does allow their company to see the heights we have picked against their Snow White. Once Monday has occurred we will know what heights work best for dwarfs, which will then give us the maximum height for our auditions for children.
