WHAT A WEEK… THE SCHOOL ACHIEVED THE MOST AMAZING RESULTS EVER!
CONGRATULATIONS to all who took part in the dancing festival, I was very proud of you all and was delighted to see how well everyone danced.

Aggregate Awards
Aggregate awards are given for the classical and stage sections for each age group and Glendale pupils won every single aggregate that they entered – 17! There are only 18 in grand total and the 18th we didn’t have anyone contending it in all the requisite classes! We have to confess that out of the 17 we won, 2 of them were shared with pupils from other schools.

The festival has 4 mini group sections and we won 3 and came 2
nd and both 3rds in the other one!

THE CHAMPIONSHIPS…
To get into the prestigious Championships you have to get a high mark for Ballet & Modern solos.
There were 12 junior Championship dancers age 9-12 from the whole festival of whom 5 were Glendale pupils

across the whole festival of which 10 were Glendale!

I am looking back through records but I cannot ever remember any school winning all 4 places in the 2 championships; I don’t think it has ever been done but I am checking out that fact!

for the highest aggregate for all 7 solos under 12
